The Starlight Thermal

As day fades into evening, the Rooftop Thermal at Trim Castle Hotel takes on a different rhythm. With the castle illuminated against the night sky and the Boyne Valley settling into stillness below, the setting becomes quieter, more atmospheric, a place to slow down and fully release the day.

The experience begins within the thermal facilities, where heat and water work together to ease the body out of its daytime pace. Moving between the hydrotherapy pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and cold plunge pool, muscular tension softens, circulation is gently stimulated, and the mind begins to quiet. The contrast of temperatures encourages a gradual unwinding, preparing the body for rest.

Beneath the evening sky, the water feels warmer, the air cooler, and the senses more attuned to the surrounding landscape. The illuminated stone of Trim Castle creates a striking backdrop, while the stillness of the setting allows a rare moment of pause.

The experience concludes with a glass of prosecco, offering a simple moment to sit, reflect and take in the view. Whether enjoyed quietly or shared, it offers a natural close to the evening, leaving only the warm afterglow.
