Stylish, warm and made for good times, The Bastion brings a fresh energy to one of Trim’s most iconic settings. Contemporary interiors, comfortable corners and a front-row view of Trim Castle create a backdrop that feels special without ever feeling formal.

The Bastion Kitchen & Bar will be built around great ingredients, generous hospitality and the kind of food and drink you’ll want to come back for.

Our menu will champion quality Irish produce, bringing together contemporary gastropub cooking, bold flavours and an easy-going sense of occasion. Expect dishes that feel familiar yet considered, made with care and designed to be enjoyed whether you’re dropping in for a casual bite, settling in for dinner or celebrating something special.

The bar will be every bit as considered as the kitchen, with signature cocktails full of personality, classics made as they should be, a carefully chosen wine list, premium spirits and, of course, a properly poured pint.
