Our Hotel

Trim Castle Hotel celebrates over a decade in business. Founded in 2006 by the O’Brien family, our hotel offers 68 elegant bedrooms. We are situated in an opportune location, overlooking the eponymous Anglo-Norman castle at Trim, location of the Mel Gibson movie ‘Braveheart’.

Combining luxury and conviviality, our location in Ireland’s ancient town of Trim allows our visitors to explore some of the Ancient East’s most prominent attractions. Trim Castle Hotel is a retreat for all our guests, a place to relax in contemporary-style comfort.

Home to Jules Restaurant, The Bailey Bar, Barista Cafe and The Kilkenny Shop, the hotel offers a range of environments to meet friends, shop Irish gifts or celebrate a special occasion.

Our Rooftop Garden offers exceptional vantage points of Trim Castle and the surrounding lush land of Co. Meath, Ireland’s Royal County.

We have a range of bedrooms - Family, Executive, Superior and Heritage Deluxe - to provide the ideal space for both business travellers and family occasions. All our bedrooms are designed with a contemporary palette, modern furnishings and are fitted with flat screen TVs, electronic safes, WIFI and power showers.
