Trim Castle Hotel

Care Programme

At Trim Castle Hotel we are currently developing a care programme to ensure that our guests, team members and suppliers will all be able to return to hospitality’s ‘new normal’ when the lockdown is fully lifted. This programme is our guarantee that we will be ready, prepared and waiting to welcome everyone back safely.

This programme will include health and safety guidelines and recommendations that have been developed by the Irish Hotels Federation and the HSE. These guidelines and recommendations will be fully in place by July 20TH when we reopen.

This programme will cover new safety policies and procedures for:

Our Team

Checking in and out of the hotel

In room service

Our food outlets

Communal Areas in the Hotel

An outline of each area includes but is not limited to:

Our Team

All our team will attend new training safety programmes designed to deal with this current outbreak to ensure that safety and sanitisation is a top priority.

We will follow Government guidelines regarding Personal Protective Equipment and the wellbeing of our team is extremely important to us.

Checking in and out of the hotel

We will have contactless payment options for our guests and email receipts will be available.

Key cards will be disinfected in line with guidelines.

In room service

We are developing a new cleaning programme for all rooms in line with Government guidelines.

We will be reducing touchpoints and footprint in rooms.

There will be hand sanitiser stations on all bedroom floors.

Our food outlets

Buffet services for breakfast will be replaced by table service for all guests.

Menus will be removed from all areas and will be replaced by boards and signage.

Tables and chairs will be sanitised after each seating.

Tables will be situated in line with government guidelines on social distancing.

Communal Areas in the Hotel

All communal areas in the hotel will receive frequent sanitisation and a risk assessment of all touch point will be carried out from the viewpoint of guests, staff and suppliers.

Hand sanitistation stations will be available in all public areas in the hotel.

Where possible doors will be left open and touch points will be reduced.

Signage will be in place to indicate what social distancing is required in all areas.

While many of the above actions will alter how we serve and look after our guests none of them will result in a reduced service experience. Some of the changes will be visible while others will be less obvious but will be taking place in the background. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back and your safety is paramount to us.
