Hen Party Testimonial
Well girls I had the best time last weekend at my Hens. We booked a Hen Party package through Trim Castle. Myself and the bridesmaids went for two nights with ten more joining us on the Saturday. 
The first nite is a girls nite in, chick flicks, cocktails, pizza, popcorn the works. We really thought this would only be for a few hours but it was for the whole night, we watched Bridget Jones and SATC. They brought us popcorn, chocolate and pitchers of Cosmos (they were gorgeous but
leathal) and then after two hours brought us pizzas. The staff were so nice and really looked after us. I was so glad we went for the two nights as I had the Friday with my bridesmaids and it was such a giggle, I tell you I wasn't too happy the next day with the hangover but it was great!
On the Saturday the rest of the girls arrived and we had lunch in the Hotel then the bus brought us to Causey Farm (Be a farmers wife for a day theme) well I have to tell you I never laughed as much it was such fun. They are brilliant there and when we arrived the girl we had Debbie taught us the Siege of Ennis, then we went to milk the cow, then there is a wall they ask all the girls to write up things about the hen, it was lovely got lots of photos at it with the girls. Then we went to make bread, great craic and then this trailer brought us all to the bog, here you have obstacle courses to go over without falling in, well I have the videos and photos to prove it me and my sister were destroyed but the best craic ever. We went back to the farm then to wash our wellies and try and clean ourselves up, then brought us tea and scones and then we learned to play the Bouran (sp?) Bus came to pick us up and brought us back to Trim Castle.
That evening we had dinner in the Hotel, it was gorgeous and again the staff were brilliant, trotted off down to Lenihans all dresses up in my hen gear and we had a great laugh, ended the weekend at 8am Sunday Morning, the night manager Pat brought us sandwiches and all at 6am.
So girls for any of you still to have your hen Party check out the trip to Causey Farm, it is so good and you will have a great time and for all the Trim Castle Brides, all I can say is you will have a brilliant day in the Hotel, the staff, the hotel and the food are fab and I thought if only i'd gone to see it I may have booked it myself, it is stunning!
