Tour Three – The Sightseer’s Tour
Our Dublin Sightseer’s tour will depart Trim Castle Hotel at 10.00am. On arrival at the Phoenix Park the tour transfers onto the Hop On, Hop Off bus and everyone gets to become a Dubliner for a day!
The Hop On, Hop Off bus stops at many sites of Ireland’s capital city including:
- St. Stephens Green
- National Gallery
- *Dublin Zoo
- *Trinity College
- *The National Museum
- *Guinness Storehouse
- Dublin Castle
- St Patrick’s Cathedral
- *Museum of Modern Art
- *Old Jameson Distillery
- Temple Bar

Tour Four – The Activity Tours
Golfer’s Delight
County Meath is home to some of Ireland’s best known Golf Clubs. Rolling parklands and mature courses with towering trees, shimmering lakes and winding rivers offer exciting challenges to the keenest of golfers! We’ll organise a round of golf and provide transport to your chosen club, this is subject to availability. Stunning local golf clubs include County Meath, Royal Tara, Headfort, Rathcore and Knightsbrook.

Pudden Hill Activity Centre
Pudden Hill is one of Ireland’s leading entertainment centres. No other venue in the country has such a diverse range of activities and facilities to suit all ages and tastes.
Activities for adults include:

Puddenhill Children's Animal Farm
Where children can meet all the animals Larry & Lou Lou, the pet lambs, Dilly & Dora, the donkeys, Podge & Rodge the Peacocks, Mary Lou, Edie, Susan & Bree, the four guinea pigs in Puddenhill’s very own Guinea Pig City, Marvin and Theodore the Chipmunks – and many more!
Puddenhill Play Centre is 4,500 sq. ft. of fun, safe, indoor games for children up to 12 years of age. There are seating areas and viewing gallery for parents. The Play Centre has 3 separate areas based on children’s ages.
There is a €20 surcharge on this tour.
The tour will then return to Trim Castle Hotel for a well deserved rest.
Tour Five – The Battle of the Boyne and Trim Heritage Trail
The tour will leave Trim Castle Hotel at 9.30am for the Battle of the Boyne Site, located just outside Drogheda. It was here that the famous Battle between King William III ( William of Orange ) and his father-in-law, King James II was fought on 1 July 1690.
The tour will transport people back in time and guide them through the following:
- The Battle of the Boyne Site
- Oldbridge Village
- King Williams Camp
- The Ravine, Roughgrange
- The River Crossing Oldbridge
- Crossing the Ford, Slane/Rossnaree
- King James Camp
- Artillery used in the Battle
The tour also explores the historical Visitor Centre to view the audio visual show which shows – 17th century weapons, re-enactment of the battle and many other interesting displays and artefacts.
The tour will depart from the site at 2.00pm and make its way back to Trim, where a guided tour of the Trim Heritage Trail will commence.
The picturesque town of Trim is listed as a heritage town and includes some of Ireland’s best known historical sites including Trim Castle, the largest Norman Castle in Ireland. Our local guide will guide you through the historical sites of the town and will tell a few stories along the way.
